The Financial Supervision Authority, the Romanian-American University, the Institute of World Economy of the Romanian Academy and the Institute of Financial Studies organize on November 1, 2016 the public debate "Financial Education: Let's talk about the future!" which will address the need for a long-term vision for financial education and training.
Wishing to join the calendar of activities organized under the auspices of the National Debate for Education and Research - Educated Romania, a project initiated by the Romanian Presidency, the event aims to bring to the same table, in the form of a think tank, all stakeholders interested in improving the level of financial literacy in Romania.
The event takes place on November 1, 2016, at the headquarters of the Romanian-American University (Bd. Expozitiei, Nr.1B, sector 1, Bucharest), starting with 9:00.
The agenda of this dialogue open to all stakeholders aims to provide an overview of:
- the current situation of the education system, from the perspective of all parties involved,
- existing needs for financial education, arising from the need to know in order to improve the level of future well-being,
- opportunities to increase the level of future financial inclusion,
- concrete, modern ways of implementing financial education systems.
