The Institute of Financial Studies, in partnership with "Ștefan cel Mare" University in Suceava, invites you on March 18, 2022, at 12:00 PM to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics and case studies, as well as technical and practical aspects in the fields of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.

Special guests for the session on March 18:

Prof. Dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of ISF and university professor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, teaches courses in Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of Firms, and supervises doctoral candidates in the field of Accounting. He has extensive experience in university management, having served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty (2008 – 2012), responsible for scientific research and ensuring the quality of education, and as Dean from 2012 to 2016. He was Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Romanian Association of Faculties of Economics (2012-2016). He is a member of several professional associations in the economic field, including: ANEVAR evaluator expert, having served as Secretary General of the association from 2016-2017; chartered accountant, member of CECCAR; tax consultant, member of CCFR. Since 2014, he has been Vice-President of the Romanian Society of Economic-Financial Analysis (SRAEF). Since 2017, he has been a member of the CNATDCU Commission for "Economic Sciences and Business Administration," and since 2018, a member of the permanent expert committee of ARACIS, contributing to the external evaluation of numerous undergraduate and master's programs in the economic field. He has a vast experience in scientific research, reflected in the publication of 7 books and university manuals, over 60 articles in specialized journals, of which 12 articles are in journals indexed by Web of Science with non-zero AIS, participation in national and international conferences, and involvement in scientific research contracts as a grant director or team member. He is a reviewer for several journals indexed by Web of Science and a member of the editorial board for several journals indexed in international databases. His main research directions are: financial performance and risks of enterprises; sectoral economic-financial analyses; models of enterprise behavior research.

Conf. Univ. Dr. Laura Elly NAGHI, PhD in Finance - Insurance, has over 15 years of experience in adult vocational training. She completed postdoctoral studies at ASE Bucharest in the field of insurance. She has published several books in the financial domain, indexed articles, and frequently participates in international conferences. An authorized ANC trainer with international certifications, she has contributed to the development of professional training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. She gives presentations at events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects for students (middle and high school) and pre-university teachers.

Andreea AILINCĂI holds the position of Director of the Compliance and Internal Control Directorate and is the designated person for international sanctions within OMNIASIG Vienna Insurance Group S.A., one of the largest insurance companies in Romania. OMNIASIG is part of the Vienna Insurance Group (Wiener Versicherung Gruppe), the leading insurance provider in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to taking on this role, Andreea worked for 10 years as Department Head within the Legal Directorate, where she was responsible for coordinating, organizing, and controlling legal consulting and litigation activities. Andreea holds certificates issued by IBR in the prevention and combating of money laundering, international sanctions, cyber risk assessment and management, and compliance risk assessment.

Camelia Cătălina JOLDEȘ works as a financial analyst in the Financial Stability and Market Analysis Service within the General Directorate of Strategy and Financial Stability at the Financial Supervisory Authority. She graduated from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banks, and Stock Exchanges at ASE Bucharest in 2015, and completed her master's degree in Actuarial Techniques from the same faculty in 2017, obtaining her doctorate in economics in 2020. She has published specialized articles in journals indexed by Web of Science.

Mihai PURCĂREA is the general director of BRD Asset Management, one of the leading fund managers in Romania. The company manages eight open investment funds with assets of 4.5 billion RON raised from both individuals and legal entities. Before assuming his current position, he served as investment director at Erste Asset Management. Mihai is a member of the board of the CFA Romania association and the Association of Fund Managers in Romania.
