The Financial Studies Institute, in partnership with the University of Craiova, invites you on April 7, 2022, at 10:00 AM to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics and case studies, as well as technical and practical aspects from the fields of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.
Special guests for the session on April 7:
Conf.univ.dr. Laura Elly NAGHI, Doctor in Finance - Insurance, with over 15 years of experience in adult vocational training. She completed post-doctoral studies at ASE Bucharest in the field of insurance. She has published several books in the financial field, has BDI articles, and frequently participates in international conferences. An authorized trainer of ANC with international certifications, she has participated in the development of professional training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. She presents at events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects for students (middle school, high school) and pre-university teachers.
Ileana BOTEZ is one of the pioneers of the capital market in Romania, with over 25 years of experience in this field. Since 1995, she has worked at the Bucharest Stock Exchange, serving as the general secretary of the company, coordinating as director the admission of companies to trading on the markets managed by the exchange and intermediaries, relations with the company’s shareholders, marketing, communication, and international relations specific to this field, as well as in corporate governance, contributing to the implementation of the Corporate Governance Code project of the BVB. She currently coordinates the trading admission activity, as well as the financial education program “Fluent in Finance.” She holds an MBA from the Romanian-Canadian program, specializing in Finance, from the Faculty of Finance and Banking at ASE, and from the Faculty of Legal and Administrative Sciences at the Christian University Dimitrie Cantemir, and is also an accredited ANC trainer. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the Faculty of Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Exchanges. Since 2020, she has been a doctoral student at the Academy of Economic Studies, Doctoral School of Finance, with a topic in corporate governance.
Daniela AMBROSE is a graduate of the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Bucharest, specializing in Human Resources, and has a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management. She joined the UNIQA team in 2019 as a Training and Organizational Development Specialist, where she has been involved in various HR projects aimed at discovering, developing, and continuously training employees' potential.
Daniel SZOCS, Associate Broker in the Corporate Department of Otto Broker, has over 12 years of experience in the insurance field. He graduated from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration at the Transylvania University of Brașov. He began his career in the insurance sector in the Retail Department, where he steadily rose to the level of Zone Manager within Otto Broker. In 2018, he accepted the challenge to relocate to Bucharest and work in the Corporate Department, focusing on business development. Commercial Credit and Agricultural Insurance are his main areas of specialization, but as a technology enthusiast, he has also added IT Professional Liabilities to his areas of interest.
