"The Institute of Financial Studies awarded, in its capacity as Partner of the Scientific Communications Session of the students of the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, 3 papers that received the highest scores awarded for topics related to non-banking financial markets.
Held on April 8, 2022, the scientific communications session was dedicated to students in undergraduate and master's degree programs within the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems.
33 students were registered, with 16 papers.
The declared winning papers were:
First Prize – 1500 lei for the paper “Corporate governance and financial performance in an emerging economy. Empirical research on the Romanian capital market” realized by Bojan Andreea Mădălina, Master - Year II;
Second Prize – 1000 lei for the paper “The impact of financial structure on the performance of listed companies” realized by Theodorescu Andreea, Master - Year II;
Third Prize – 500 lei for the paper “Study on the evaluation of Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited” realized by Dorobanțu Maria Cristina and Sobolevschi-David Adrian, - Undergraduate - Year III.
