"The Institute of Financial Studies awarded, in its capacity as Partner of the Scientific Communication Session, to the students of 'Alexandru Ioan Cuza' University in Iași, 4 works that received the highest scores awarded for topics related to non-banking financial markets.
Held on April 16, 2022, the scientific communication session was dedicated to students in bachelor's and master's degree programs at 'Alexandru Ioan Cuza' University in Iași.
The winning works were:
First Prize – 1500 lei for the work 'Determinants of the performance of private pension funds in Romania in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic' carried out by HARMASARU CRISTINA;
Second Prize – 1000 lei for the works: 'The impact of announcements regarding the launch of COVID-19 vaccines on the capital market: event study,' carried out by PASCAL PAULA, and 'Investment decision-making based on technical and fundamental analysis: case study,' carried out by MATEI DAN PAVEL;
Third Prize – 500 lei for the work 'The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the efficiency of capital markets. Empirical study,' carried out by MAXIAN IUSTINA.
