The Institute of Financial Studies in partnership with “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu invites you on April 15, 2022, at 09:30 to the Vocational Training Seminar SmartFIN@ISF. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics and case study presentations, technical and practical aspects in the field of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.

Prof. univ. dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of ISF and university professor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, teaches courses in Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of the Company and is a PhD supervisor in the field of Accounting. He has extensive experience in university management, holding the position of Vice-Dean of the Faculty (2008 – 2012), responsible for scientific research and ensuring the quality of education, as well as that of Dean, during the period 2012 – 2016. He was Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Economic Faculties in Romania (2012-2016). He is a member of several professional associations in the economic field, namely: ANEVAR evaluator expert, being Secretary General of the association during the period 2016-2017; certified accountant, member of CECCAR; tax consultant, member of CCFR. Since 2014, he has been Vice President of the Romanian Society of Economic and Financial Analysis (SRAEF). Since 2017, he has been a member of the CNATDCU Commission “Economic Sciences and Business Administration,” and since 2018 a member of the permanent expert commission ARACIS, contributing to the external evaluation of numerous bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in the economic field. He has extensive experience in scientific research, concretized in the publication of 7 books and university manuals, over 60 articles in specialty journals, of which 12 articles in journals indexed in Web of Science with non-zero AIS, participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research contracts as a grant director or member of the research team. He is a reviewer for several journals indexed in Web of Science and a member of the editorial board for several journals indexed in International Databases. The main research directions are: financial performance and risks of enterprises; sectoral economic-financial analyses; models for researching the behavior of enterprises.
Conf.univ.dr. Laura Elly NAGHI, PhD in the field of Finance - Insurance with over 15 years of experience in adult vocational training. She completed postdoctoral studies at ASE Bucharest in the field of insurance. She has published several books in the financial field, BDI articles, and frequently participates in international conferences. ANC authorized trainer, with international certifications, she participated in the development of vocational training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. She presents at events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects among students (middle school, high school) and pre-university teachers.
Ovidiu PETRU holds a degree in economic sciences with over 14 years of experience in the capital market, having successively held positions such as broker, marketing director, and general director of the Sibiu Stock Exchange (Sibex-Sibiu Stock Exchange SA). He participated in the professional training of specialists in the Romanian capital market as an authorized lecturer of Sibex (Professional Training Body). He currently works within ASF holding the position of General Director - Financial Instruments and Investments Sector.
Mihaela BADEA has extensive experience in training, management, insurance, and press. She trained in top companies and says her motivation comes from social interactions and quality results. She encourages learning through experience, in an open and active framework, and says she learns best when teaching others. Mihaela is the Training and Organizational Development Manager at Groupama Asigurări, a company in which she has held various roles in training, consulting, recruiting, and coordination.
Alina BARBULESCU, General Insurance (non-auto) specialist, has been part of the UNSAR team for 2 years, having 14 years of experience in the insurance field. She specializes in property and goods insurance. Insurance entered her life from her first year of university when she entered the insurance industry. Beautiful years followed in which she learned the basics of this industry and which shaped and developed her both as a professional and as a person.
Claudiu SOFRON, AUTO Insurance specialist, a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, joined the UNSAR team at the beginning of this year after over 6 years of experience in the insurance field at ALLIANZ-TIRIAC Asigurări.
