The Institute of Financial Studies, in partnership with the "Petrol-Gaze" University of Ploiești, invites you on March 16, 2022, at 10:00 AM to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics, case studies, and technical and practical aspects of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.
Special Guests for the March 16 session:
Prof. Marian SIMINICĂ, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF) and a university professor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. He teaches courses in Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of Firms and supervises doctoral students in Accounting. Prof. Siminică has extensive experience in university management, having served as Vice-Dean (2008-2012) and Dean (2012-2016) of the Faculty. He has held leadership roles in professional associations, including Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Faculties of Economics in Romania (2012-2016). He is a member of several professional economic associations, such as ANEVAR, CECCAR, and CCFR, and has held various prestigious academic and professional roles in the field of economic and financial analysis.
Assoc. Prof. Laura Elly NAGHI, Ph.D., specializes in Finance and Insurance and has over 15 years of experience in adult vocational training. She completed post-doctoral studies in insurance at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Dr. Naghi is a published author, has numerous articles in indexed journals, and frequently participates in international conferences. She is a certified trainer with international certifications and has contributed to the development of professional training manuals in non-banking financial markets.
Oana Bica is the Communications and Public Relations Manager at Groupama. Since joining the company in 2018, she has been responsible for developing and implementing corporate communication strategies aligned with the company’s goals. Oana has contributed to various projects in risk prevention, promoting healthy lifestyles, supporting sports, and developing the film industry.
Claudiu Sofron, an Auto Insurance Specialist and a graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, recently joined the UNSAR team after over six years of experience in the insurance field at Allianz-Tiriac.
Alina Bărbulescu, a General Insurance Specialist (non-auto), has been with UNSAR for two years and has 14 years of experience in the insurance industry. She specializes in property and casualty insurance and has been working in the field since her first year of university, gaining experience and evolving as both a professional and an individual.
Bogdan Tudosie has over 15 years of experience in sales and financial markets trading. Currently, he manages sales activities at BRD Asset Management. Bogdan has been an active member of CFA Romania since 2013, holding the prestigious CFA designation, recognized globally among financial professionals.
