The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics and presentations of case studies, technical and practical aspects in the field of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.

Prof. univ. dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of ISF and university professor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, teaches courses in Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of the firm and is a doctoral supervisor in the field of Accounting. He has extensive experience in university management, holding the position of Associate Dean of the Faculty (2008 – 2012), responsible for scientific research and ensuring the quality of education, as well as that of Dean from 2012 to 2016. He was Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Economic Faculties in Romania (2012-2016). He is a member of several professional associations in the economic field, namely: ANEVAR evaluator expert, being Secretary General of the association in the period 2016-2017; certified accountant, member of CECCAR; tax consultant, member of CCFR. Since 2014, he has been Vice President of the Romanian Society for Economic-Financial Analysis (SRAEF). Since 2017, he has been a member of the CNATDCU Commission for "Economic Sciences and Business Administration," and since 2018 a member of the ARACIS permanent expert committee, contributing to the external evaluation of numerous undergraduate and master's degree programs in the economic field. He has vast experience in scientific research activity, concretized in the publication of 7 books and university manuals, over 60 articles in specialized journals, of which 12 articles in journals indexed in the Web of Science with non-zero AIS, participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research contracts as grant director or team member. He is a reviewer for several journals indexed in the Web of Science and a member of the editorial board for several journals indexed in International Databases. The main research directions are: financial performance and risks of enterprises; sectoral economic-financial analyses; models of research on enterprise behavior.
Assoc. Prof. dr. Laura Elly NAGHI, Doctor in Finance - Insurance with over 15 years of experience in adult vocational training. She completed postdoctoral studies at ASE Bucharest in the field of insurance. She has published several books in the financial field, indexed articles, and frequently participates in international conferences. An authorized ANC trainer with international certifications, she has participated in the development of training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. She gives presentations at events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects among students (middle school, high school) and pre-university teachers.
Alina CERNESCU is a graduate in Sociology from the University of Bucharest and holds a master's degree in Corporate Communication. Alina began her professional career in HR in 2012, passing through various areas of expertise (recruitment, training, organizational development). Since 2015, she has been part of the UNIQA team, and currently coordinates training and organizational development activities. The development programs she coordinates start from the reality that every experience transforms us and that we can become the best version of ourselves.
Roxana BĂLUȚĂ is Program Coordinator and Specialist in Life and Health Insurance at UNSAR - National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania and has a career of over 15 years in insurance, including 8 years of extensive experience in reshaping and improving operational processes, as well as in developing insurance products. Before joining the professional association of insurers, Roxana was responsible for project management within one of the most well-known companies in the industry. Currently, Roxana manages several programs within UNSAR, while also coordinating the activities of the Marketing, Communication, and PR group, as well as that of Digitalization and Innovation, and the Life and Health Insurance Section.
Alexandru CIUNCAN, General Director of UNSAR, has over 18 years of experience in insurance and private pensions in Central and Eastern Europe, with expertise especially in business conduct, regulation, consumer protection, media, and financial journalism. Since September 2018, Alexandru has held the position of General Director of UNSAR - National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania, and since August 2019 has been a member of the Board of Directors of ISF - Institute of Financial Studies. Between 2013 and 2018, Alexandru was a member of the IRSG and OPSG, the two stakeholder groups within EIOPA - the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, participating in the development and debate of legislative acts with long-term impact on the insurance and private pension industries. At the same time, he held the positions of Secretary General of APPA - the Association for the Promotion of Insurance - the NGO that developed the first national consumer information and education campaigns - and Managing Partner of XPRIMM, a Romanian media company specialized in the insurance industry in CEE and SEE. Alexandru CIUNCAN studied at the Faculty of Management within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, holds a Professional Certificate in Management (OPEN University Business School, UK), and is a licensed PMP - Project Management Professional and ACP - Agile Certified Professional (Project Management Institute, USA)."
