The Institute of Financial Studies, in partnership with the West University of Timișoara, invites you on May 17, 2022, at 11:20 AM to the SmartFIN@ISF Vocational Training Seminar. The seminar includes interactive presentations on career topics and case studies, technical and practical aspects in the fields of insurance, capital markets, and pensions.

Special guests for the session on May 17:

Prof. univ. dr. Marian SIMINICĂ, Executive Director of ISF and professor at the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, teaches courses in Economic-Financial Analysis and Financial Diagnosis of the Company and supervises doctoral candidates in the field of Accounting. He has extensive experience in university management, having served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty (2008 – 2012), responsible for scientific research and quality assurance in education, as well as Dean from 2012 to 2016. He was Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Faculties of Economics in Romania (2012-2016). He is a member of several professional associations in the economic field, including: ANEVAR evaluator expert, serving as Secretary General of the association from 2016-2017; certified accountant, member of CECCAR; tax consultant, member of CCFR. Since 2014, he has been Vice President of the Romanian Society of Economic-Financial Analysis (SRAEF). Since 2017, he has been a member of the CNATDCU Commission for "Economic Sciences and Business Administration," and since 2018 a member of the permanent expert commission of ARACIS, contributing to the external evaluation of numerous bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in the economic field. He has vast experience in scientific research, evidenced by the publication of 7 books and university manuals, over 60 articles in specialized journals, including 12 articles in Web of Science indexed journals with a non-null AIS, participation in national and international conferences, and involvement in scientific research contracts as a grant director or research team member. He serves as a reviewer for several Web of Science indexed journals and is on the editorial board of several journals indexed in International Databases. His main research directions include: financial performance and risks of enterprises; sectoral economic-financial analyses; research models of enterprise behavior.

Conf.univ.dr. Laura Elly NAGHI, Doctor in Finance - Insurance, with over 15 years of experience in adult vocational training. She completed post-doctoral studies at ASE Bucharest in the field of insurance. She has published several books in the financial domain, indexed articles, and frequently participates in international conferences. An authorized ANC trainer with international certifications, she has contributed to the development of training manuals specific to non-banking financial markets. She delivers presentations at events organized in the financial market, including financial education projects for students (middle and high school) and pre-university teachers.

Francesca RAINOF – electronic supervision and transaction monitoring officer – Financial Supervisory Authority. She has 22 years of experience in capital markets, having held executive/managerial roles, including 13 years at FPS/AVAS/APAPS/AAAS authorities and 9 years at ASF, in the field of capital market supervision. Currently, in addition to her supervisory role, she represents ASF on the ASPAAS Supreme Council and is part of working groups at the European and international level aimed at regulating secondary markets; she holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest and from the Faculty of Computer Science and Management at the International Economic University of Sofia. She is currently a PhD student at ASE, in the area of economic sciences, economics II. Her passion for volunteering in the service of student education began in 2008 when she founded several parent associations in Bucharest, including those belonging to Mihai Viteazul National College, Nicolae Iorga Theoretical High School, General School No. 179, etc.
